What is PoC, and why?
PoC radio
PoC radios connect to towers via 4G or 3G just like your cell phone. These networks support nationwide coverage, and use small encrypted data packets as the transmission/receive format. They are great if your workforce needs to cross state lines, or simply needs further coverage than what you are currently getting
They connect to the internet and are managed from an admin portal. Also, our devices can connect via wifi for those hard to connect areas.
Traditional Two-way radios
Two-way radios connect directly to a private radio tower & repeater only expanding the signal for nearby devices, or other connected towers. These networks are only as large as the business supporting them (generally a few hundred miles)
